Just outside the village Taxiarchis on mountain Cholomontas of Chalkidiki there is the guesthouse FARMA. It is a family enterprise on an area of 10,000m2 which consists of two independent residences (11 apartments), made of stone and wood in harmony with the environment. The group also has a breakfast and coffee hall with fireplace and bar. In the restaurant of the guesthouse you can taste exceptional traditional delicacies, all cooked by Mrs. Nikoleta. Some of these delicacies are: wild boar, roebuck cooked with red sauce, onion stew, kid and others. Within the complex there is an indoor play area, while in the outdoor area there are little rabbits for our little friends. |

One of the two buildings consists of 4 apartments which are 40m2 and 50m2, while the other building consists of 7 apartments which can accommodate 2-4 persons. The apartments have fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, fireplace, individual heating and free firewood for the fireplace, bathroom, television and veranda with a splendid view of the verdurous Cholomontas but also of the sea between the peninsula Sithonia and the mountain of Athos. |

Cholomontas offers many enchanting features, like the different colours, the changing of landscapes, the rich flora and the hospitable environment. Taxiarchis is located 65km away from Thessaloniki and is an ideal sanctuary for those who wish to escape from the routine of the big city. For those who love the nature and the hiking there are exceptional paths, while those who have a jeep 4x4 will be able to live extreme experiences. |
