In Soufli, that is also known to Greece and to the world as the town of silk, we restored with care and taste the Kalesis Family Doll House. Built in 1850, by stone and timber, as old traditional doll houses, which are also known as Mpitziklikia they are characterised by the particular architectural line that created the ideal conditions for cocoonery after until 1975 it functioned also this as a cocoonery. Later it was bought from the Soufli Municipal Enterprise of Tourist Growth and today constitutes one from most traditional guest houses in the region. |

It is a two-storied traditional building, which is constituted by 11 rooms with 22 beds. In the ground floor of building is found the excellently decorated living room, which surrounds you with traditional class. In it runs the reception as well as a room of breakfast with the lounge and the television. The rooms are big mansions and allocate bathroom with hot water 24 hours a day, heating, television and hair-dryer. |

Soufli is located 65km from Alexandroupoli and 390km from Thessalonica. It is found in the foot of hill Ai Lia, in the shade of Rodopi and very close to the river Evros. Roughly 14km away is the Forest and the Eco-centre of Dadia, where in the observatory that it allocates with telescopes, you can watch birds. It was characterised as protected region and National Park, since it gives the possibility to its visitors of enjoying the various natural landscapes with gorges, the rich vegetation that allocates, but also the enormous variety of birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals. In the region you can also find paths, while fishing is allowed in the river. Finally, from the hotel you can you visit Lefkimi at Metaxades and Pentalofo. |
