The picturesque village Paleohori of the mountainous Fthiotida is situated on the 117th kilometre of the old National Road Athinon-Lamias, on the foot of mount Kallidromos. This location was chosen by Tassos and Fotini to create a pension in complete harmony with the natural surrounding, aiming at a cosy hospitality and at introducing the visitors to the nature-loving ways. TETRAPOLIS Pension, is consisted of 3 different wooden houses, with 8 rooms or 3 beds and its spread amphitheatrically on the slope of Profitis Ilias. From all the rooms, the view to the mountains around, Parsnassos, Iti, Giona, as well as to the plateau and the valley of Kifissos is magical. In the living room near the fireplace, on the balcony or the garden, the visitors can relax while tasting traditional recipes and local dishes (biologically cultivated vegetables from the pension's garden, handmade pies, hand kneaded bread with barm baked in wood oven, fresh local eggs, exceptional local meat, numerous house cooked dishes, special wine and tsipouro, house made jams and sweets). |

The wooden houses of TETRAPOLIS Pension, traditionally built, offer a comfortable and friendly decoration. The rooms are equipped with bathroom and 24 hours a day hot water. |

Paleohori village is full of archaeological findings, from the Stone age up to Byzantium. A visit to the acropolis of the ancient Dorian Tetrapolis and to Delfi will be unforgettable to the visitors. Finally, starting from the Pension, the visitors can wander in Agia Eleousa (the springs of the Biotic Kifissos), in the mineral park of Fokida Vagoneto, in the Damasta Monastery and in the park of Iti. In the pension's area live freely in their natural habitat 6 calm horses, waiting for the visitors to offer them superb rides in the woods. In addition to the above, a fully organised bicycling course with mountain bikes for the lovers of natural training and adventure. With TassosÕ invaluable advice and maps, the guests are driven through mountain paths, discovering the natural beauty of the landscape. We also plan excursions and walks to Limni Neuropolis or Valitsa up to Androutsos slope, cannyoning to the canyon of Aesopos, rappel, tree-climbing and flying fox with the guidance of experienced climbing guide (in a specific date, arranged with the visitors). In winter time the skiers can enjoy the ski centre of Parnassos, only 29klm from the pension. |
