HOTEL LEONIDAS is a newly built beautiful hotel of three stars with clearly traditional architecture that offers all the comforts so that you will enjoy your holidays. It is located in Filippei of Grevena at the western end of the prefecture, on the Eastern slopes of Northern Pindos and at an elevation of 1250m. It is a modern hotel complex that consists of 40 rooms (31 two bedded ones and 9 four bedded ones) a splendid living room, an enormous restaurant with fireplace, an impressive cafe with fireplace, a safe playroom for children, a big swimming-pool and a comfortable parking lot. Soon there will be football, basketball and archery grounds while the visitors have the possibility of learning how to ride horses that the HOTEL LEONIDAS offers or even rent a jeep and mountain motorbikes. We also plan to build a zoo that will give the visitors the ability admire roebucks, deer, ibices etc. It is ideal for comfortable, quiet vacations and generously offers mental peacefulness and a lot more. |

The town of Grevena is 417km away from Athens and 193km from Thessaloniki and it is built on the banks of river Grevenitis, at an elevation of 534m. In a distance of 15km from HOTEL LEONIDAS and 6km from the village Smixi there is the ski centre of Vasilitsa. From our hotel you can visit the National Park of Pindos (Valia Kalda) that it is rich in flora and fauna and a shelter for all sorts of wild animals. You can also visit the monument of the fighters of the 1940 war that is located at an elevation of 1700m on the mountain top of Anitsa, the 17 stone bridges of the region of Grevena that are monuments of art and samples of high folk inspiration, the stone springs and the monasteries of the villages near the hotel but also the gorges and the waterfalls that create a beautiful and imposing landscape. |
