In Dilofo, 31km away from Ioannina, in Central Zagori, there is one of the most beautiful villages that has remained intact through time, - with a lot of mansions and unharmed traditional paved streets.
Here you can be accommodated in an old traditional mansion of 9 rooms and suites that was renovated with zeal and taste, shaped into a guesthouse. In the Archontariki (reception room) you can taste a rich traditional breakfast with a big variety of local products and in the evening, returning from the tours, you can enjoy with your company the warm atmosphere of the fireplace as well as traditional pies, local handmade salt-cured meat, various types of local cheese as well as rooster cooked with wine, pork with leek and celery, and boiled goat accompanied with fine local wine and raki. |

On the national road of Ioannina - Konitsa - Kozani, after the metal bridge at the 19th km turn right to Central Zagori. After Aspraggeli turn right to Kipi and Tsepelovo, at the 3rd km turn left to Dilofo, after 1km you will find the traditional village Dilofo.

It is a region with special natural - historical - social and cultural characteristics, at the heart of the mountain range of Pindos. It is a mountainous place - all the villages are built at an elevation of 600 - 1.400m. Its main characteristics are the dense forests in the Eastern Zagori, the deep rocky ravines in the Central Zagori and the exceptionally rich flora and fauna. |
