On the way to the ski Centre of Kaimaktsalan, in the traditional settlement Old Agios Athanassios are located the Mansion and the cafeteria of Mr. Tarsounas. It is a two-storied traditional building built in stone and timber. It allocates parking. |

The Mansion Tarsounas is constituted by 3 two-bedded and 8 three-bedded rooms with wooden and stone decoration. All the rooms allocate heating, individual bathroom, television while the four of them allocate individual fireplace. The traditional settlement Old Agios Athanassios is 28km from the Edessa, 16km from the Kaimaktsalan ski centre, 8klm from the Vegoritis Lake, 50km from Florina, 100km from Kastoria and Thessalonica. In the tavern of Mr. Tarsounas with its splendid decoration you will enjoy traditional local cuisine next to the fireplace. Do not omit to try “heraki“ in the oven (lamb), “prasotigania“ pork with sausage, “kotsi“ pork in the “gastra“, piglet and lamb in the “gastra“, soups and hand made noodles. There’s also a great variety of bottled wine. |
