Over against Olympus, the residence of the 12 gods of the antiquity, in the wild nature of the Pieria Mountains, lies the PEGASUS INN, built in the old settlement Elato, a village of Pieria, and at an elevation of just 850m. A traditional guesthouse, ornate with stone and wood, harmonious with the environment, offers two-bedded rooms, four-bedded rooms and also a suite with six beds. The dormer windows in the attics become the balcony for you to view the falling snow. The purl of the water that flows next to PEGASUS all year long, the formations of the ice that is created on low temperature, are images that are indelibly kept in the visitors’ mind. We are open all year long, watching the verdurous colors of summer, the variety of autumn’s colors, the rebirth of the nature in spring.
In the ski resort of Elatohori (the village of Elato), that lies just 8km away from the inn and is open every day, there are tracks that can satisfy the demands of every skier. The walks in the still not scouted forest of Elatohori will fill you with enthusiasm. Archery and mountain biking are the sports that will maintain your interest undiminished. As for those who know how, it will be our pleasure if they take part in the wild boar hunting. Our concern is the warm hospitality that changes the customers into good and true friends. |
