Agoriani (modern name Eptalofos), very near the Ski Resort of Parnassos – the best one in Greece - and just 2 hours away from Athens, is the ideal base for weekends and holidays at the mountain, with ideal climate all year long. It is built on seven hills and at an elevation of 900 m. Its characteristic is its natural beauty. Platans, elms, cherry trees, apple trees and of course the splendid firs of Parnassos create a unique composition of green, different during each season. A lot of fountains with warbling waters and waterfalls create an infrequent view, even at the square of the village. Words however cannot describe the real picture and they wrong the greatness of Agoriani, with enviable history and natural beauty. |
