The ARDAMIS traditional guest rooms are located in one of the most important buildings of the Monemvasia Castle, which has a history of many centuries. |

This building was restored to a superb block of rooms and apartments and provide their own bathroom, kitchen, telephone and air-condition.
The rooms are spacious, which is a rare feature for the Castle's buildings. The floors and the bathrooms are decorated with marbles of special and rare
cutting technique. The picturesque windows, the romantic stone vaults, the yard, the verandas, from where you can enjoy the magnificent view to the sea which is only 15 meters away, where you can have your coffee or aperitif, constitute a unique environment of hospitality which becomes familiar at first sight.

The Monemvasia Castle, a dream of thousand people all over the world, to cross the "Moni Emvasi" and enter the "Stone Ship" of Giannis Ritsos, to get familiar with the surrounding space, to enjoy a mental trip in time... to compromise with History, and here, History has ist own word, which goes on without interruption for more than 20 centuries.
The surrounding area is wrapped in a deep medieval mantle, having the dinstict traces of the Palaiologos dynasty. The Byzantines named it
"Hypercloudy Fortress" and "Renowned Town", the Franks called it the "Gibraltar of the East", and the Turks gave
it a more tender name, "Menexe Kalesi", which means the "Castle of Flowers".
