The complex was restored with special care and respect for the tradition by the Kyrimis family. Basic principle of the renovation was the absolute or even scholastic devotion to the architecture and the geometry of the buildings by using the same materials such as stone and wood. The result is a labyrinth form consisting of steps, arches and internal yards that, in combination with its preferential location, compose uniqueness. The renovation and restoration of the buildings was started in summer 2000 and will have been completed by summer 2003. |

The KYRIMAI hotel is located just a few kilometres from the southernmost end of the peninsula of Tenaro, where the Ionion Sea meets with the Aegean Sea, at the same latitude as southern Sicilia and the straights of Gibraltar. A place of special beauty and its own cultural identity, a part of which is also the architecture of Mani. |
